Job Description

Program Summary:  CACI is currently looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our TSA IT Management, Performance Analysis, and Collaborative Technologies (IMPACT) team in the National Capital Region (NCR) and throughout the United States. CACI will provide a variety of IT services through IMPACT including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services.
 
CACI will support TSA in both classified and unclassified IT operational environments increasing availability and security for a variety of applications and systems. IMPACT services will integrate with the broader DHS mission and enhance existing Department-wide IT capabilities.
 
Position Summary:
The Engineering Manager will lead a highly talented, multidisciplinary engineering team providing critical system design and implementation support for TSA's production and test environments. This team will provide technology-specific expertise such as Oracle, SharePoint, and MS Exchange in support of problem analysis and resolution during major service impacting events and when designing, analyzing, implementing, testing, and deploying upgrades or modifications to the existing services and technologies within the TSA environment. The engineering manager will also oversee server and laptop image development, application testing and packaging as well as the development of Root Cause Analysis (RCAs) reports and solutions for significant incidents. The successful candidate will continue to elevate the team's competency in delivering high quality, impactful solutions.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides engineering leadership and expertise to a cross-functional team, managing team resource assignments, projected task completion dates, prioritizing activities based on customer requirements and SLAs.
- Work cooperatively with program managers and engineering leads to plan and direct all ongoing projects based on priority and manpower availability.
- Oversees individual operational projects from identification of requirements, analysis and design, development, end-user testing, deployment and production support.
- Communicates effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exercises broadly delegated authority for planning, directing, coordinating, administering, and executing many routine and complex projects/programs.
- Defines, acquires, and allocates budget, staff, and other resources necessary to accomplish the SLAs and/or objectives of the program group/function.
- Interviews, selects and trains staff to provide quality results for the organization as needed.

 
 
Required Qualifications:
Must have Associate's Degree or higher and/or 5-15 YRS of experience (Typically requires BA/BS + 10-12 YRS)
 
PMP Certification and familiarity with Microsoft Project 2010 or later a plus
 
Clearance:  SECRET Must be obtainable
 
Desired Qualifications:
MCSE 2012 or later, Red Hat Enterprise, and/or CCNP/CCIE/CCAr certifications are strongly preferred.

 
Required Qualifications:
Must have Associate's Degree or higher and/or 5-15 YRS of experience (Typically requires BA/BS + 10-12 YRS)
 
Must have 5+ years of experience working for a large Federal Civilian agency
 
PMP Certification and familiarity with Microsoft Project 2010 or later a plus
 
Clearance:  SECRET Must be obtainable
 
Desired Qualifications:
MCSE 2012 or later, Red Hat Enterprise, and/or CCNP/CCIE/CCAr certifications are strongly preferred.
