Responsible for the performance of a relatively significant technical, non-technical, and/or intelligence related program or multiple smaller non-technical programs in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. Program area typically represents more than three functional areas. Also responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned programs and for supporting new business development by leading proposals. Responsible for the employment, training, coaching, mentoring, motivation, discipline and performance evaluation of assigned employees.
The Client maintains on-going awareness of Enterprise and Mission information systems, vulnerabilities, and threats to enhance mitigation solutions and risk decisions to ensure the integrity of the IT systems. This position will at times support activities that enable the team to target, assess, exploit and report the risks and vulnerabilities of organization systems. The candidate will play a key role in helping to manage day-to-day activities within their team. This position will be responsible for managing customer requirements and project schedule while working closely with Client Manager and security SMEs to coordinate the planning, scheduling, and testing of projects in the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process. The candidate would be expected to employ strong technical and organizational skills to coordinate requirements; coordinate deliverables with the customer; serve as a Scrum Master, document best practices; schedule and prioritization of tasks; gather inputs and prepare documentation or briefings for/from technical exchange meetings (TEMs). Duties could also include setting team direction, writing analyses on relatively short notice, responding to data calls, and maintaining the oversight over all team projects.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 16 or more years of experience, including three to five years of supervisory/management experience. At least five years of demonstrated on-the-job experience communicating vulnerability results and risk posture to senior executives.
At least two years of demonstrated on-the-job experience with vulnerability assessment tools and performing network security analysis.
At least five years of demonstrated on-the-job experience performing multiple concurrent complex technical tasks in pursuit of overall goals with minimal direction.
At least two years of demonstrated on-the-job experience analyzing test results and suggesting mitigation plans for security problems
At least two years of demonstrated on-the-job experience creating systems and applications security test plans
At least two years of demonstrated on-the-job experience with network architectures and network management tools
Demonstrated on-the-job experience with risk management methodologies
Demonstrated on-the-job experience with system configuration, development and design specifically around enterprise and small organizational systems
Bachelor's (B.S.) degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
Knowledge of cyber security engineering, and experience with Linux, Windows and virtual platforms.. Clearance required is TS/SCI w/Poly.
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
