Job Description

CACI Enterprise IT Operations has an opportunity for an IT Systems Technician to support an asset inventory effort of a large and complex IT enterprise program.
 
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an IT Systems Technician you will be part of a team inventorying assets at various locations within the enterprise that includes travel in Asia.
 
-Under general direction, you are responsible for locating, scanning, database auditing, applying new bar codes, and entering other asset information into database of various pieces of equipment.
 
-Maintain scanners and other equipment necessary for conducting the asset inventory.
 
-Travel via plane and/or car to various sites in the region to account for all pieces of equipment.
 
-Provides daily status updates to leadership.
 
-Interact with the customer to develop a site specific plan to locate each piece of equipment that requires scanning and entering into asset database.
 
-Communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with government travel regulations and frequent business travel.
- Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
 
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
-Typically requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 0 to 2 years of experience.
 
- Familiarity with Computing Systems, Printers, Phones, Audio Visual Multi-Media Systems, and Networking equipment.
 
- Experience installing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and maintaining hardware, software, and network related problems.
 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face.
Travel up to 100% may be required.
