Job Description

 
RESPONSIBILTIES:
The Systems Engineering Services team is currently seeking a new IT Project Manager. This position requires someone with a technical understanding who can clearly communicate the project status, scope, and resource requirements utilized throughout the project life cycle. This role will allow the individual to work closely with senior management to prioritize projects and initiatives as well as respond to corporate tasks.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 12 to 15 years of experience, including three to five years of supervisory/management experience. 

B.S. degree in Computer or Information Technology related degree.

  • Demonstrated (nonacademic) experience of industry experience working as an IT Project Manager.
  • Demonstrated experience using Primavera, Jira and Microsoft Project.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team of software developers in the use of agile software development techniques.
  •  Demonstrated on-the-job experience Service Level Agreement (SLA) experience * Demonstrated on-the-job experience with Basic Finance and Accounting skills to concurrently manage customer SLAs and multiple Budget Line Items and on-the-job experience with simultaneously managing multiple, competing priorities or projects. Excellent  computer skills, including but not limited to Internet and email proficiency, MS Office suite of products
  • Requires active TS SCI with Poly

Desired Skills

  • Demonstrated experience working within Sponsors Directorate of Digital Innovation or its predecessor organizations.
  • Possession of an Agile/Scrum certification (Example: Certified ScrumMaster).
  • Previous experience as a software engineer.
  • Possession of a Project Management Certification (Example: PMP).
