CACI Enterprise IT Operations has an opportunity for a Project Manager Deputy to support a large and complex IT enterprise program with your primary role as an outreach liaison and strategic communications coordinator.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Project Manager Deputy you will be part of the Program Management Office with some of your duties as follows:
-Assist higher level program/project manager in directing the project life cycle by assisting in development of comprehensive project plans to include both long and short-range goals and milestones.
-Coordinate with the government and employ various practices, strategies, and technologies for strategic communications.
-Work closely with the Program Manager, end users, and the performance metric data ensuring that the program is continually meeting and improving service performance responsiveness with the customer community.
-Suggest and direct continuous improvement initiatives based on end user feedback and customer collaboration satisfaction surveys.
-Identify, acquire, and utilize company resources to achieve project objectives.
-Clearly document and present findings including creation of diagrams and procedure documentation.
-Responsible for driving recommendations through to implementation.
-Communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
-Identify, analyze, and define project requirements and scope.
-Exercise broadly delegated authority for planning, directing, coordinating, administering, and executing many routine and complex projects/programs.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Typically requires Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communication, or a related discipline and 7 to 9 years of experience.
- Experience with large scale enterprise IT contracts.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience working with IT customers within the Department of Defense.
- Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
