ICITAP is a law enforcement development organization whose mission is to work with foreign governments to develop effective, professional, and transparent law enforcement capacity that protects human rights, combats corruption, and reduces the threat of transnational crime and terrorism, in support of U.S. foreign policy and national security objectives.
Work will occur in multiple OCONUS locations
ICITAP requires a law enforcement advisor to provide strategic reform advice, plan capacity building, organizational development, and training programs.
Theoretical and operational implementation of Counterterrorism Investigations working with Federal Law Enforcement Agencies.
Training and International experience with Federal Law Enforcement Agencies working on multinational police advisory teams and building partnerships across international organizations and with host country law enforcement agencies.
Other duties as assignedEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Position requires 5-10 years of law enforcement experience with demonstrated background in advising, training entry-level law enforcement personnel at state or federal levels on law enforcement topics; demonstrated experience as a training instructor in a large police force; demonstrated experience in successfully presenting law enforcement training programs; and level of formal education (Associate's/Bachelor's Degree).
Overseas experience is a plus
Language skills are a plus
