CACI’s MIDAS program is a large Big Data initiative in support of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and plays a critical role in the administration of Affordable Care Act (ACA) for Federal and State Insurance marketplaces. This program has implemented a successful and productive Big Data environment which offers exciting challenges and learning opportunities in cutting edge technologies. We are currently looking for an experienced Hadoop Engineer to join a large team of Big Data professionals.
This position will be primarily responsible for administrating a Hadoop ecosystem designed and maintained by the CACI. Hadoop clusters are used by both external and internal users. This position will support the design and implementation of additional features and capabilities to the system and will play a large role in the future technical direction of this environment. In addition, this position will support production administration in further improving the existing Ad hoc analysis environment used by Data Analysis and Profiling team to perform computationally complex tasks with large datasets.
This position is based out of either Chantilly, VA or Fulton, MD. Remote option could be considered for exceptional candidates. However, all new hires are required to undergo 2-4 weeks of onsite project orientation and team integration.
