CACI Enterprise IT (EIT) has an opportunity for an Information Technology Senior Scientist to be the Team Lead of our Service Planning Delivery & Tools Support Team that supports a large and complex global enterprise IT program for our Intelligence Community (IC) customer.
This senior level position will identify, evaluate, and introduce new technology and process changes to enhance the ability of the EIT environment to meet the mission needs of our customer. The position will oversee the technical evolution through three distinct areas: Technology Refresh, Modernization, and Technology Insertion.
-Serves as in-house and industry recognized expert.
-Participates in decision making regarding priorities and provides information on feasibility of prospective projects.
-Develop and implement enterprise IT tools to support an IT managed service delivery approach.
-Focus on continual service improvement to increase efficiency and cost optimization of services, and IT service delivery processes.
-Provide technical direction and engineering knowledge in support of planning, designing, developing, testing, installing, and maintaining systems monitoring and management services.
-Develop, define, and document systems management policies, processes, procedures, and drive implementation and use within the program.
-Perform user administration on enterprise management supporting technologies.
-Manage data generated by the IT enterprise tools that generate tickets assigned to engineers for resolution and document IT issues for root cause analysis and lessons learned.
-Further network assist by identifying reasonable evidence for failures to prevent reoccurrence.
-Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to remote access services.
-Represent the program's technical interests with partners, suppliers, industry associations, and government entities to ensure the flow of technical information and best practices.
-Plans schedule and establishes daily, weekly, monthly, and annual activities necessary to meet program timetable for Technology Refresh, Modernization, and Technology Insertion.
-Prepares reports and papers of completed projects for publication in technical journals or presentation at conferences.
-Trains and provides guidance to less experienced staff.
Education and Experience:
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline and 16 to 18 years of experience.
- 15+ years of experience working with IC customer
- Experience executing IT Service Management (ITSM)
- ITIL process best practices
- Possess a high level technical certification such as:
-Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
-Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
-Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
-ITIL v3 Foundation
-Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
-Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP)
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
