Under general supervision, the incumbent is responsible for the coordination and administration of some phases of education and training for the organization.
Confers with customers to gain knowledge of identified work situations requiring preventive or remedial training for employees and for the establishment of organization-wide training programs and prescribed learning and curriculums. Develops, documents, and evaluates training programs. May configure company or customer prescribed system and provide documentation and training on the system. Responds to requests for specialized training and performance improvement requirements, and conducts training sessions to meet customer requirements. Tests trainees to measure their learning progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training presentations. Collects measurements and reports on learning progress and performance to evaluate effectiveness of training. May evaluate and recommend training programs that can be utilized in developing specialized skills. May provide guidance to less experienced employees.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and two to four years of related (training) experience.
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
