SAS & Tableau Administrator:
 
Job Description:
- Provide technical and administrative support to the government client to build and maintain a modernized Enterprise Business Intelligence (EBI) utilizing SAS, Tableau and Microsoft products. Administrator is responsible for installation, configuration, maintaining, and supporting the BI Analytics team and BI environment

- Responsible for devising data conversion strategy for a system focused on delivering an advanced analytical capability to the client.

- Design and prepare technical specifications and guidelines.

- Act as self-starter with the ability to take on complex projects and analyses independently

Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of administration of SAS BI suite of products

- Data Integration experience, including strong time management skills, ability to design, document, develop and test data integration process from analyst specifications

- General Data Management knowledge-mainly data lineage and metadata management

- Experience with relational databases, such as SQL Server, Oracle and ability to write SQL commands is required

- Working knowledge of java and eclipse based products (infrastructure product would be best, but prior experience supporting any product would help)

- Security +

- Working knowledge of windows servers (support of developer tool)

- Ability to learn new skills quickly

- Nice to have Tableau experience as well

- Experience with Admin of SAS EG/Miner

 Preferred:
- General knowledge of Business Intelligence

- Practical skills with installation and configuration of SAS, Tableau and Microsoft BI products

- Working knowledge of DoD security concepts and Host Based Security Suites (HBSS)

- Understanding of user group concepts for rights/roles assignments

- Knowledge of basic networking skills (ports and protocols)

- Practical skills with Virtual Desktop environment (application farming)

- Scripting experience to automate processes (vbscript, python, java)

- Experience working in a Analytics heavy Business Intelligence environment (SAS, Tableau, Microsoft, etc.)

- Practical skills with installation and configuration of SAS, Tableau and Microsoft BI products

- Experience working & managing user access and rights based on roles and responsibilities

- Prior experience in development of analytics processes to support Analytics teams

- Programming background with JAVA, VBScript, JBOSS, bat is strongly preferred

- Working knowledge of DoD security concepts and Host Based Security Suites (HBSS)

- Experience working in a similar environment (i.e. DOD / DHA services)

- Windows command line experience

- Demonstrated strength and current experience of using SAS and Tableau BI administration

- Experience with JBOSS, JAVA, XML, SQL
 

Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Master's Degree in technical or business discipline or related experience required. BS in Computer Science, Math or Engineering desired

- Experience in data integration development with 2-3 years' experience as a lead developer preferred

- Requires excellent analytical ability, consultative, communication, presentation and management skills, strong judgment and ability to work effectively with clients, IT management and staff.

- Experience with relational databases, such as SQL Server, Oracle and ability to write SQL commands is required

- Requires strong negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills; In-depth knowledge of project planning methodologies and tools and IT standards and guidelines; knowledge of management concepts, practices and techniques.

- Ability to develop processes that utilize reusable objects, repeatable design patterns and clear coding following project's data integration standards and guidelines

- In-depth knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies; thorough knowledge of business functions and operations, objectives and strategies.

- Prior administration and use of SAS and Tableau BI products

- General Data Management knowledge-mainly data lineage and metadata management

Delivery:
- Experience within a delivery role
- Experience with client facing consulting engagements
- Extensive experience within management consulting or consulting services

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related experience
 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
