Job Description

As an emerging expert, creates and modifies programs to certify system changes. Develops test control databases. Maintains test databases and ensures their integrity and currency. Distributes test data from control database to development staff to satisfy adequate unit testing. Prepares and maintains system request task status. Maintains and controls the flow of department copies of system requests or problem logs. May perform minor program changes or develop programs as required.
Establishes criteria and general operating procedures have been developed covering the nature and scope of quality assurance activities to be accomplished. Raises issues, questions and concerns and may determine sources of deficiencies and initiates corrective action. Examines planning information including specifications, quality control procedures, and fabrication records to insure that specified elements are correctly and completely stated. Prepares quality trend analyses based on a review of quality records and testing data; and investigating defective material. Ensures that quality processes are developed in conjunction with the user requirements. Serves as lead team member to establish parameters and specifications for databases. Tracks and maintains documentation of assigned quality projects. Reviews requirements, specifications, and documentation to gain a thorough understanding of the programs and processes to be certified. Raises issues, questions and concerns. Validates results, reports discrepancies, and follows through to ensure that all issues are resolved. Provides or validates estimates for assigned tasks.
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related discipline and 7-9 years of related experience.
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
