Job Description

Position Summary:
Counterintelligence (CI) analysts use a variety of classified and unclassified databases, software applications, and other intelligence research tools to identify, assimilate, examine, interpret, and evaluate all-source information/intelligence to determine the nature, function, interrelationships, personalities, capabilities, and intent regarding the intelligence capabilities of foreign powers, international terrorists and other entities and activities of CI interest.
Duties and Responsibilities: The mid-level counterintelligence (CI) analyst analyzes Foreign Intelligence Entity (FIE) threat information from multiple sources, disciplines, and Intelligence Community agencies.
CI analysts:

- Apply basic understanding of the various forms of intelligence in order to incorporate this data into intelligence analysis, including HUMINT, SIGINT, Cyber operations, IMINT, and MASINT.
- Are familiar with and trained on the use of intelligence tools, including, WISE, TAC, Analyst Notebook, PROTON, HOTR, Palantir, RMT, QLIX, etc.
- Perform strategic CI analysis (vice tactical and operational)
- Possess understanding and knowledge of Foreign Intelligence Services/Entities threat (counterintelligence)
- Produce/author finished intelligence (FINTEL) products to support the intelligence needs of the OSD, Joint Staff, CCMDs, and military services.
- Research, review, edit, plan, prepare, integrate, ANALYZE and PUBLISH All-Source/CI products for the customer
- Evaluate and put general information into a written analytical product understandable by non-technical readers.
- Exhibit experience writing/performing intelligence analysis for FINTEL products (producing integrated FINTEL to detect, neutralize, and mitigate Foreign Intelligence Services/Entities activities).
- Possess knowledge and experience in writing/publishing  analytic products consistent with ODNI and FINTEL intelligence analysis and production standards
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master's degree with 4-6 years of intelligence analysis experience, or, specialized training and 4-8 years of intelligence analysis experience, or, equivalent intelligence/academic experience.

Must successfully complete a CI-scope polygraph (CSP).

Must be US citizen with current Top Secret security clearance and eligible for SCI access.
Must be proficient in Intelligence Community analytical methodologies, standards and software tools and possess a working knowledge of FIE organizational structures, capabilities, intentions, tradecraft, and Modus Operandi, as well as the concepts, principles, practices, laws, methods and techniques pertaining to DoD CI investigations and operations.


Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent and five to seven years of related. Must be U. S. citizen with current Top Secret security clearance and eligible for SCI access; CI polygraph may be required.
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, video conference, email and face-to-face. Occasional travel may be required at client direction.
