Job Description

CACI currently has a position available for a Technical Security Education Curriculum (TSEC) Subject Matter Expert (SME) Instructor / Adjunct Instructor supporting the Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) Community in Fort Washington, MD.
 
The purpose of this project is to provide training to the Intelligence Community (IC) workforce and to maintain existing course content for currency and relevancy.  The instructor will employ both classroom instruction and alternative delivery methods for students located at Ft. Washington, MD, and possibly temporarily at other CONUS / OCONUS locations as deemed necessary to the mission.
 
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILTIES:
The Technical Security Education Curriculum (TSEC) Subject Matter Expert (SME) Instructor / Adjunct Instructor will employ the appropriate instructional methodologies to ensure all learners develop the knowledge, skills and abilities to effectively perform their job role and thereby, make certain each student derives the greatest value from their respective training.
- Prepare and present classroom lectures; and assist in TSEC curriculum modernization

- Independently adapt instructional materials

- Develop, maintain, and enhance the applicable TSEC training infrastructure

- Effectively use teaching technology, as required in course syllabus.

- Adhere to established instructor policy / guidance.

- Coach / advise aspiring instructors.

- Independently adapt instructional material.

- Apply theoretically sound adult learning methods.

- Use blended learning technologies, deliver training on the knowledge and skills required for conducting compliant, effective and efficient TSCM training.

- Work with course developers to ensure the correct information and best teaching methodologies are used.

- Employ the appropriate instructional methodologies to ensure all learners develop the knowledge, skills and abilities to effectively perform their job role and thereby, make certain each student derives the greatest value from their respective training.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
*Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related (training) experience.
  
Required Qualifications:
- Interested candidates with a TS/SCI Clearance and a CI Poly can be accepted for the program, however, the individual must be able to pass a FS Poly to remain employed.
- Eight (8) years of applied practical experience in federal Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) or Technical Surveillance Activities (TSA) in the last ten (10) calendar years.
- Have a Undergrad degree in Education and Training OR five (5) years' experience teaching adults.
- Hold Level 3 Technician Certification for 8570 (preferred).
- Meet at least two (2) of these TSEC Sub-Discipline requirements:
1. Technical Surveillance Technology:

2. Five (5) years' experience in Technical Surveillance technology and techniques OR a Bachelor's degree in technology, electrical engineering, communications, or computer science.

- Component Detection Technology:

0. Five (5) years' experience in defensive component detection technology and techniques OR a Bachelor's degree in technology, electronics, or electrical engineering.

- Radio Frequency Technology:

0. Five (5) years' experience in Radio Frequency technology and techniques OR a Bachelor's degree in communications or electrical engineering.

- Telephony Technology:

0. Five (5) years' experience in digital telephony technology and techniques OR a Bachelor's in technology, communications, or computer science.

- Computer Technology:

0. Five (5) years' experience in computer and network technology and techniques including system administration, network security, hardware, and software OR a Bachelor's degree in computer science or information system management.

- TSCM and Preparations Training:

0. Five (5) years' experience in TSCM technology and techniques OR a Bachelor's degree in technology, electrical engineering, communications or computer science.

 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
