Our company is interested in hiring an experienced Data Architect/Engineer to work closely with our financial management system migrations contract for a federal customer located in Washington, DC. The Data Architect/Engineer is a member of the Data Conversion team and provides migration support to convert the customer’s financial data from their legacy systems to Momentum financials.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with development and maintenance of conversion crosswalks, programs, checklists, and other required artifacts
Assist with execution of conversion activities including mock conversions and production cutover execution
Assist with creation and maintenance of conversion related deliverables
Create data conversion programs for each applicable document type using defined conversion specifications
Act as data conversion subject matter expert
Assist with development of conversion specifications to map source system values to target system values
Participate in meetings to gather required conversion information, review conversion concepts, and perform conversion activities
Active Top Secret Clearance required. Applicant cannot have any pending open investigations (includes Interim clearance)
Experience migrating legacy data to an ERP solution
Experience with PL/SQL scripting including creating SQL commands to extract, transform and load data
Ability to collaborate with members from a variety of support teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional analytical skills
Bachelor's degree and at least 12-15 years of related experience
Technical knowledge of Momentum Financials to include table structure and technical architecture
Knowledge of Momentum Financials batch jobs (i.e., run batch job, troubleshoot errors, review logs etc.)
