As an emerging expert, provides signals intelligence support for strategic and operational-level planning, joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy throughout the Areas of Operational Responsibility (AOR) and Areas of Interest (AOI).
Researches unclassified and classified databases for use in written products.
Researches, compiles, evaluates and integrates Signals Intelligence into Intelligence Community assessments and reports, and based on US National and theater priorities.
Prepares the SIGINT related portions of intelligence products and assessments.
Accesses SIGINT databases used in geo spatial analysis.
Performs link-and-nodal analysis, data mining, and metadata analysis utilizing geo-spatial analytical techniques; presents SIGINT findings utilizing visualization applications.
Reviews and evaluates the overall reporting from assets to help determine asset validity.
May serve as a client liaison and coordinates with sub-contractors, government personnel, and technical experts.
May be responsible for training and mentoring junior IAs.
May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts, and may have supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Education -“ Training in SIGINT operations
Experience -“ 10 years SIGINT experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies with five years at the operational level and requires former MOS 1N, 35S/P/N, 35B, 352B/PQ/R/S,18F or equivalent
Clearance -“ TS/SCI w/current CI Polygraph
Special skills or qualifications -“
Be knowledgeable of Army/Joint SIGINT procedures and data processing systems.
Proficient in utilizing basic computer applications, mIRC, Jabber Chat, and intelligence related automation in support of analytical efforts and product development
Possess strong research, analytical, and writing skills
Be capable of effectively operating as a member of an analytical team from a remote location in support of CJOA-A requirements
Possess strong knowledge of relevant tasking, collection, processing, reporting procedures, and communications architecture (PED)
Possess strong knowledge of military ground and operations, target-area geography, place names, titles, and cultural norms as well as relevant enemy objectives, tactics, techniques, and procedures

Education -“ Associates or Bachelor's Degree
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face. Some travel may be required. May spend a lot of time standing due to laboratory conditions.
