Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

CACI has an immediate opening for an Enterprise Architect (EA) with a strong Systems Engineering skillset to support client customer requirements and IT Enterprise Architecture staff activities.  Current client requirements include expertise in synthesizing and presenting big picture views based on enterprise content, while incorporating a capability to deep-dive and trace execution-level detail where needed

RESPONSIBILTIES:

Candidate must possess deep exposure to DoDAF v2, and an understanding of the Intelligence Community Program Architecture Guide (ICPAG) is a key preference.  Position will require proactive engagement with government staff, as well as other assigned staff from a diverse multi-contractor support team.  Candidate should be comfortable organizing, conducting, and participating in fora and tiger teams and/or serving as an EA subject matter expert.  Creative adaptation to varying task flow, objectives, subject matter, and workload is essential.

Clearance Requirement: Must have an active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a poly.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience within a related field and 7-10 years of experience, is required.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment as well as independently in a very fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and assess against work breakdown structures (WBS), to include progress tracking through the use of metrics.
  • Experienced with development and maintenance of Program Execution Plans and Strategic Implementation Plans.
  • Experienced with applying system engineering and architecture processes to identify capabilities, functions, relationships, gaps, technical issues, and vulnerabilities of current "as is" systems from an end-to-end perspective.
  • Experienced in developing as-is and to-be models and developing a roadmap to show the planned migration.
  • Demonstrated previous experience within the DoD and/or IC working processes and requirements.
  • Experience with integrated process teams, management of working groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop use queuing models to assess the performance of structured business processes that involve uncertainty
  • Experience in transitioning programs from development, through operational installation, through to Operations and Sustainment.
  • Recognized master in professional discipline

  • Develops strategic goals and implements strategic initiatives in support of goals

  • Establishes operational plans for job area

  • Develops and implements new products, processes, standards or operational plans that will have an impact on the achievement of functional results

  • Significantly improves on existing processes and practices for efficiency and effectiveness

  • Requires communication with executive leadership

  • Recognized master in professional discipline

  • Develops strategic goals and implements strategic initiatives in support of goal

  • Establishes operational plans for job area

  • Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of related work experience.

  • Joint Architecture Reference Model (JARM) and DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
  • IC IT Environment (IC-ITE)
  • Multi-criteria decision-making, content management; data architecture, metrics
  • MS office automation, SharePoint
  • NGA operations, systems, and sources modeling tools such as SPARX, System Architect.
