Job Description

The Senior Test Engineer - Application Security Tester will plan, execute and report on all test activities. Apply subject matter expertise to identify and test techniques to automate role based access requested, improve provisioning.  Works closely with testers to identify and test newly roles created by the Application Security team. Provides support to security and develop appropriate audit controls and procedures and procedures to ensure the integrity of applications.  Interprets requirements, performs highly complex analyses and presents options and presents options and recommendations to obtain desired results.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or other technically relevant degree. 

  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft Application Security, HCM 9.1/9.2 and must have Security+.

  • 2 - 5+ years of PeopleSoft experience with at least of 1-2+ years of experience with PeopleSoft Application Security. 

  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft Security Administration in a PeopleSoft 9.1 or above environment to include People Tools, Role grant functions, Workflow, PeopleSoft Security configurations, Query Security, User Preferences, Row Level Security, Component Security, etc.

  • Experience with integration of PeopleSoft and LDAP and other third party products including Single Sign On. 

  • Broad-based knowledge of Security controls, Information Technology, Compliance, and HRIS applications

  • Possesses extensive knowledge of application modeling principles, concepts and techniques

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft versions 9.1/9.2 HCM.

  • Experience in testing in an agile development environment.  

  • Experience with defect tracking tools. 

  • Experience with automated regression test scripts regarding the Security of application (s).

  • Experience with User Provisioning, Onboarding, Authentication, Enterprise Sing-Sign On, Directory Services and Federation.

  • Provides support to security and develop appropriate audit controls and procedures and procedures to ensure the integrity of applications.
