Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize all-source intelligence to develop complex Target System Analysis (TSA), targets, and compile and maintain target lists.
Support the target vetting and validation process.
Are responsible for specific complex problem set requiring advanced knowledge of targeting strategies and author targeting appendices for deliberate and contingency plans.
Produce tailored weaponeering and Collateral Damage Estimates (CDE), conduct precise point mensuration (i.e. produce Joint Desired Points of Impact (JDPIs), support the target vetting and validation process and review No-Strike Data records for difficult and at times complex problem sets.
Conduct collateral damage incident research and report as necessary.
Collaborate with agencies within the Intelligence Community, Combat Commands, in-theater Task Force units, which involves obtaining or providing information requiring some explanation or interpretation to reach agreement and produce visual depictions of target intelligence (i.e. target briefs, storyboards, graphics for working groups and boards, etc.) to aid senior decision-makers.
Provide guidance and assistance to entry level and mid-level targeting intelligence professionals and/or support employees tasked with exploiting and analyzing imagery for targeting and imagery-based target graphics.
Development and maintenance of electronic target folders, target lists, target system analysis and battle damage assessments may require minor revisions and/or edits.
Bachelor or Master's degree with 8+ years of intelligence analysis experience or specialized training & 10+ years intelligence analysis experience or equivalent intelligence/academic experience credentialed subject matter expert or recognized specialist in relevant field.
The ideal candidate will have previously been an O4-O5 Staff Officer, and will have completed JPME II, Joint Target School, and Joint Intermediate Target Development.
Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain a Poly.
Due to contract requirements, as an essential job function you must be qualified and able to travel to OCONUS locations on short notice. Failure to meet such qualifications may result in termination. Due to contract requirements you must maintain a valid United States Passport and remain qualified to travel OCONUS on short notice.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required. May spend a lot of time standing due to laboratory conditions.
