Job Description

What You’ll Get to Do:

Security Integration Specialist for mission critical IdAM system.  Responsible for supporting customers who are integrating CASPORT and AccessIT security services.

More About the Role:

  • Serve as IdAM service subject matter expert to provide integration support to customers for the various integration options available to utilize the authorization services. 

  • Act as primary help desk support via variety of methods not limited to e-mail, phone, and forward-deployed (i.e. desk side) to include difficult and often complex problems. Problems and issues faced are numerous and undefined, and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem. Regularly employs ingenuity and creativity to develop new technical solutions to solve difficult and moderately complex problems. Problems typically impact multiple departments or specialties. Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experience and analysis of issues
  • Ensure timely response to customer issues. 
  • Provide systems engineering support to customers to assist with their security design to meet accreditation standards. 
  • Provide expertise in understanding architecture, requirements analysis, data flow, and process improvement.
  • Follow structured process to communicate with program customers, IdAM policy owners, and development teams to refine new requirements, diagnose system issues, and coordinate implementation and customer transition to updated features.
  • Responsible for making significant policy, practice, and process improvements for efficiency and performance.
  • Coach and review work of new team members

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to the computer engineering or computer science disciplines
  • 10 years Technical Consulting experience.  An additional 4+ years of Technical Consulting experience may be substituted for the degree for a total of 14 years.

Critical Skills:

  • 6 years of customer integration support for IdAM services.2 years experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) authentication services.
  • Experience with AccessIT customer integration and AccessIT integration with authoritative sources.
  • Knowledge of:
    • PKI authentication
    • Role Based Access Control (RBAC) – understanding of Attribute and Authorization services.
    • LDAP, SOAP and RESTFul Protocols
    • Broad understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and software applications.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and serve multiple customers at one time
  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight from manager
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills – able to clearly communicate instruction and guidance to customers
  • Good interpersonal skills – able to interface professionally and work in a team environment
  • Ability to modify wiki sites, blogs, XML/HTML and write technical documentation to support customers

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of the following help desk system API’s: Request Tracker (RT) and/or  Redmine.
  • Experience with multiple Application Servers and containers
  • Experience with web, SOAP, and RESTful services
  • Systems Engineering experience
  • Familiar with SQL and basic database querying abilities
  • Familiar with LDAP.
