Job Description

  • CACI is seeking a Bid and Proposal Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead and drive the recruiting efforts for new business pursuits across CACI.

    To be successful in this role, you will need to move fast and enjoy a challenge!  CACI's Bid and Proposal team are trend setters and leaders in creating and testing innovative recruiting strategies that drive hiring efforts for large recruiting surges across various skill types and levels, with a heavy emphasis on technical positions.  As a trusted recruiting advisor to your client group, you will use your strong collaboration and communication skills to influence hiring decisions and activities, and effectively meet the organization's staffing needs.

     
     
    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Performs complex tasks for a variety of professional and administrative recruiting functions in support of identifying, interviewing, evaluating and selecting qualified employees to effectively meet the organization's staffing requirements as it relates to Bid and Proposals efforts. Leads strategy, implementation and guidance for recruiting efforts as needed for each pursuit.  
     

    RESPONSIBILTIES:
    Serves as Recruiting Lead and trusted advisor over B&P efforts to support growing the business, consulting on staffing best practices and meeting deliverables for strategic capture efforts.  Provides full lifecycle recruiting function to include assisting hiring managers with developing and marketing job positions, sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, reference checking, extending verbal and written offers while also maintaining candidate information in the automated recruiting system. Meets with line leadership on an on-going basis to review organizational recruiting requirements and plans. Advises senior leadership on recruiting trends, best practices, market data as it pertains to specific deals. Develops innovative techniques to support customer needs. Maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates. Leads new win transitions to ensure the staffing deliverables are met to include incumbent capture. Performs a variety of professional and administrative functions to ensure positions are filled with qualified candidates quickly. Provides regular reporting to senior management on recruiting issues. May assist in the creation of procedures and communication material that document recruiting practices. Represents department to internal/external applicants. Provides team leadership to less experienced employees. Assist with mentoring new recruiters and acting as a lead during large captures.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
    Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related experience, to include a minimum of seven years of technical/intelligence recruiting.

  • Experience working in a government contract environment recruiting for a variety of skill sets and clearances
  • Specialized experience recruiting for proposal efforts and program transition
  • Specialized experience recruiting for incumbent capture
  • Facilitating and attending hiring events 
  • Expert knowledge working with ATS systems (Workday preferred) and OFCCP compliance regulations
  • Expert with sourcing skills and using a variety of tools to include social media
     
    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
    Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
