CACI is seeking an Operations Officer to support our government customer at Ft. Belvoir, VA. This position will serve as the technical expert in areas relevant to the project and demonstrate experience in conducting financial, manpower, and logistics analyses and supporting information technology solution development.
Responsible for support of program business and functional operations. Duties may include identifying and facilitating resolution of operational issues and acting as a liaison between technical and functional areas. Collaborates with customers to gather information, define complex work problems, and designs a system and procedures to resolve problems. Maintains currency in understanding of relevant technologies and subject areas. Identifies emerging relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes and systems. May support the Program Manager in planning, monitoring the program activities. Recommends improvements and/or modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization and related matters. Generates recommendations in the form of technical briefings, reports, and other major documents provided to senior level client personnel. Develops and updates functional or operating manuals outlining established methods of performing work in accordance with organizational policy. Serves as client liaison and coordinates with external stakeholders. Develops and delivers training and oral presentations, and explains the most complex material in a clear fashion. Participates in special projects as required. Perform various analytical functions including cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, policy and procedure analysis, operations analysis, and acquisition programmatic analysis. Development and implementation of policy and procedure -Prepare briefings and tools for senior leadership -Special projects including research, document examination, operational studies, and metrics development
Knowledge of Army organization and structure Understanding Knowledge of the military acquisition process (DOD 5000)
