Job Description

Position does not provide Logistical Support.

Duties and responsibilities:

Network/System Administrators shall provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 on-site systems administration support to local customers at HQ/USAFE/SG and supporting local Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs). 

Support includes, but not limited to, maintaining the Windows 10 NIPR and SIPR workstations and file and print servers in a
virtual (VMware) environment, receiving trouble tickets, analyzing issues, developing/implementing solutions, escalating issues and tracking customer service to completion for all service requests.

Technical support for communications may include installing, maintaining and troubleshooting desktop hardware, software including web-based applications, and peripherals associated with Medical Information Systems.
Ensures HIPAA compliance.

On-site personnel shall coordinate with internal and external agencies to ensure all customer requests are completed as requested. 

Provides daily updates for all outstanding work orders via automated reporting system.

Required Qualifications:
Network/System Administrators should have good oral and written communication skills in order to foster working relationships with the customer, internal and external IM/IT agencies.

Bachelor’s Degree in a computer field or related field, and one year’s experience.
Position requires IA Technical Level II certification as defined in DoD 8570.01M i.e. Security +

This position requires an active Secret clearance.

Desired, but not required are experiences working with IM/IT healthcare services, network control center operations, or other enterprise level communications. Some experience with VTC, iPhones and Sharepoint is desired.  Database administration and web development is a plus.
