Job Description

The Information System Security Project Manager is responsible for for all issue resolution, program management, and other contract support including providing comprehensive account support for an information assurance contract. The Project Manager will be a single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and the COR. Furthermore, the Project Manager is expected to actively engage in Certification & Accreditation package creation, audit and

assessment.

The Information System Security Project Manager is responsible for for all issue resolution, program management, and other contract support including providing comprehensive account support for an information assurance contract. The Project Manager will be a single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and the COR. Furthermore, the Project Manager is expected to actively engage in Certification & Accreditation package creation, audit and assessment.  Requirements for this key position are to:
Manage and oversee work performance
Plan, manage and oversee work efforts of Contractor personnel
Interface with the Government to ensure client satisfaction
Determine and monitor schedule
Ensure compliance with all requirements and quality standards
Provide guidance, direction and ultimate management for the contract, and reviews all services for conformance to Government requirements
Create, audit and assess technical Certification & Accreditation packages
Lead a team of senior information security personnel in achieving and maintaining Authority To Operate (ATO) on high visibility systems

Required Qualifications:
This position requires an Active SECRET clearance.

Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
At least two years of experience working with FISMA
Demonstrated expertise in SELC, Information Security processes, audits, tools, implementation, FISMA, NIST, and IT security development projects
 Knowledge of security code reviews processes and best practices, Enterprise Architecture, DHS experience

Desired Qualifications:

    Experience with Xacta IA manager strongly preferred.

Education and Experience:

Typically requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and 16 or more years of experience, including three to five years of supervisory/management experience.  Prefer 19 years of experience.
