Job Description

Position Summary:

The candidate will provide electronic warfare (EW) radar engineering support for research and development.  Develop EW waveform algorithms and support concept development for EW.  This involves knowledge of radar, RF propagation, polarization, EW or electronic countermeasure techniques

Responsibilities:

•           Develop EW radar waveform algorithms based on EW techniques and polarization physics

•           Demonstrate algorithm performance using modeling and simulation as well as in hardware

•           Generating official reports on a periodic basis which contains the structure of the test events, the rationale on the structure of the test events (e.g. why certain parameters were chosen), detailed analysis, conclusions, and suggested approaches for future development

•           present technical data/papers to leadership/conferences

•           Be able to clearly communicate with team members

•           Participate in team meetings/discussions

Required Skills:

Active Top Secret

•           Electrical engineering/Optical/Physics degree

o          Ph. D., MS, or BS Degree

•           Polarization physics (i.e. Mueller matrix, Stokes vector, etc.)

•           Radar, Electronic Countermeasures, polarization with respect to radar

•           Understanding and knowledge of Radar components including antennas, radomes, transmit/receive modules including polarization response

•           Hands on laboratory/field experience

•           Independent worker, team player

•           Excellent Technical writing

•           Be able to work in a research type environment

•           Effective communications

•           Electrical engineering/Optical/Physics degree
