Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: 
 
As a Mid- Level Watchlisting Intelligence Analyst, you will receive, triage, review, and process terrorist information/nominations from diverse USG agencies.  In addition, you will perform intelligence analysis of DOD datasets resulting in the identification and subsequent nomination of known or suspected terrorists into the National Terrorist Watchlisting system.  Systematically and deliberately review DOD datasets assessed as likely to contain identifying information for known or suspected terrorists.  Identify, prioritize, and record intonation from datasets related to known or suspected terrorists as specified by the Government.  Perform all source analysis to ensure completeness of information and to avoid duplicating data entries.   Compile and format information with proper classification and address. Ensure reported information is cogent, comprehensive, and understandable.
 
   
RESPONSIBILITIES:  
 
Analyze terrorism information from nomination to export following established criteria, standards, and policies; make recommendations regarding the nomination and watchlisting process; develop, maintain, and implement a daily review program to ensure data integrity of nominations; deliver written assessments on quality issues and recommend improvements to productivity and mission effectiveness.  
   
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:  
 

  • Experience working HUMINT and watchlisting
  • Previous experience working with the FBI and Counterterrorism a plus
  • Excellent communications skills, written, verbal and a demonstrated ability to multi-task while exercising strict attention to detail
  • Experience in MS Office suite, Analyst Notebook, and Intelligence Community Counterterrorism Databases
  • Willing to work shift work/extended hours based on threat activity
  • Requires 3-7 years of relevant experience dependent on the degree type (Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's). If no degree, requires 9 years of relative experience.
  • Familiarity with government computer systems recommended.
  • Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
