Job Description

Responsible for the overall management, performance, and completion of projects, tasks, or delivery orders as part of the RM Online program.  RM Online is a web-based Budget Planning and Execution System comprised of several modules, and is used by several major US Army Commands and other Government Agencies.


Responsible for the overall management, performance, and completion of projects, tasks, or delivery orders as part of a program. Duties include all areas of project management, from initiation through closeout to ensure the successful execution of the project's mission, goals, and objectives. Responsible for managing one or more activities, control account, task within a project/program. 

  • Head of a small to mid-size project. Establish and implement tactical and operational plans for that project, with significant impact on the achievement of project results. Focus is on short -term strategies (e.g., less than 1 year) to achieve business results, which may require substantial development of new processes, standards or operational plans to achieve strategic goals.
  • Communicates with parties within and outside of own project, which includes external customers or vendors.
  • Work with customer to clarify requirements, perform project kick-off meetings, determine project resource requirements, and help develop system requirements.

Required Skills

  • Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and ten to twelve years of related experience, including three to five years of supervisory/management experience.
  • Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics. Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
