The Air Force Integrated Personnel and Pay System (AFIPPS) will seamlessly add payroll and leave management capabilities to the Military Personnel Data System, creating a single, web-based Enterprise Resource Planning software solution streamlining existing Air Force personnel and pay processes into a single self-service system for the three AF military components: Regular Air Force, AF Reserve, and Air National Guard. The system will configure the appropriate Oracle e-Business Suite Commercial-Off-The-Shelf software application modules to satisfy AF business processes and integrate the product with MilPDS, which is based on Oracle’s EBS Human Capital Management application. The delivered solution will result in table-level integration of human resource and pay data supporting a single instance of Oracle EBS, making life easier for the end user by reducing redundancy, eliminating superfluous manual process, and ensuring timely pay for all. The AFIPPS solution will subsume and supplant the existing pay and benefits computation and disbursement processes of the Defense Joint Military Pay System and the functions of LeaveWeb. It will have AF-wide applicability, encompassing military airmen in all AF components and levels of duty status exclusive of retirement pay.
Performs business and technical analyst functions, including workshop facilitation, business process data validation, enterprise application (ERP product) testing from a functional business area perspective. Also performs application development and configuration and unit testing of the application code (ERP product) from a technical perspective. Efforts include participation in the development, integration and deployment of enterprise solutions. Utilizes functional area expertise to create data base models and to assess the operational and functional date baseline. Examples of functional areas include, providing data models that are the results of business systems planning and data requirements planning. Provides input for systems development and data base administration groups from a data point of view. Also performs business and technical designer functions, including making contributions to both the business and technical architecture components of the enterprise solution.
OBIEE Lead will be responsible for the successful delivery of a OBIEE data warehouse solution and related components.
Design data ingestion components and ETL to collect data from various sources
Implement and Design the OBIEE RPD physical, business and presentation layers
Work with user to design and develop OBIEE reports and dashboards
Understanding of the underlying technology including setup, tuning and administration
Test the entire solution
Define test scenarios based on requirements; create test scripts to prove each scenario through system and user acceptance testing.
Assist the team in helping to build, configure and test integrations between HCM, Global Payroll and other third party/custom solutions as necessary
Elicit, document and derive requirements from functional users, subject matter experts, system documentation and high-level requirement specifications
Translate customer requirements into a best fit within the application, and develops processes and documentation that support the SDLC
Develop and maintain standard systems requirement documents including but not limited to: business process workflows, Functional Requirements Documents; Requirement Traceability Matrix, and use cases.
Support application design, configuration, deployment, and security setup activities as needed
Implement complex enterprise system configurations and end to end development design
Demonstrate configurations through the development of prototypes
Assist in the configuration and maintenance of core lookup value sets
Review and comment on proposed functional/capability configuration for each of the product modules
Provide feedback on system and functional design documents, test plans and scenarios, and other associated artifacts
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related IT discipline
Experience in managing data lineage and performing impact analyses
Excellent software design and documentation skills
7-9 years of Oracle EBS (HR/Payroll)
7-9 years of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
7+ years of experience with Oracle BI applications (OBIA)
Experience in Oracle HR Analytics
Experience with OBIEE 11g – Analysis and Dashboard development/modifications, RPD Development, Catalog Management
7+ years of experience in Integration of EBS with Business Intelligence applications
7-9 years working with sources and target environments built upon Oracle Database 9,10 and 11g
Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) preferred
Experience in BI publisher (BIP) Reports preferred
Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment
Excellent organization skills
Very strong analytical problem-solving skills
Familiarity with DoD Contracting environment
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
Experience on large-scale software development projects.
