Job Description :
Under General Supervision, supporting the government Security Lead, Under general supervision, support the government Security Lead in the administration of policies, procedures, standards, training, and methods for identifying and protecting information, personnel, property, facilities, operations, or material from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, assault, vandalism, espionage, sabotage, or loss.
Assist with foreign Visitor coordination ensuring proper clearance has been obtained prior to visit.
Operations Security (OPSEC) & Information Security Awareness
Assist the security office in monitoring and evaluating its OPSEC and security awareness posture.
Prepare OPSEC and security-related information, brochures, posters and other security information and awareness promotional materials.
Assist in the development of security protocols, practices, Security Classification Guides (SCGs) and IAW Army guidance/regulations and assist in the execution of these practices.
Provide expertise in review of materials for implications of possible release of sensitive technologies and conducts OPSEC risk assessments and Essential Elements of Friendly Information (EEFI).
Provide security support for violations, conducts investigations, and submit final report to higher management.
Provide OPSEC assistance with various programs as needed.
Maintain access to the "Public Release Access System (PRAS) in order to assist the government with the public release process.
Conduct information security training to the workforce.
Conduct Safe inspections
Restricted Area and Physical Security
Maintain Intelligence Community Standard and all appropriate regulations pertaining to Restricted Area accreditations, Fixed Facilities Checklist (FFC), equipment, SOPs, Temporary Secure Working Area (TSWA), Temporary Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (T-SCIF) and provide assistance with development, planning and execution of security for off-site tests.
Updates and maintains various secure areas, to include the appropriate accreditations associated to such areas, risk assessments as required, and assist during inspections. - Maintains safes and key control
Assists the government in maintaining the access control system and close circuit television (CCTV) and badging systems.
Provide personnel to support to the Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and conducts semi-annual alarm tests.
Provide support with review of TEMPEST and Technical security posture of the facility, and provide assistance in correcting any deficiencies discovered.
Provide COMSEC support, to include but not limited to review current SOPs, pick up COMSEC material and equipment from the DCS, and assist during COMSEC inspections.
Assist the Government with Anti-terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) POC by performing Random Activity Measures (RAM) and exercises.
Verifying clearances for government and contractor employees in JPAS.
Prepare paperwork for NATO, Critical Nuclear Weapons Design Information (CNWDI), Periodic Reinvestigations, upgrades, courier orders, OCONUS travel orders, Foreign Travel, Interims and SCI clearance nominations as needed.
Conducts initial security briefings, NATO-Secret briefings non-disclosure briefings, and debriefings.
Provides Defense Courier Systems database documentation support.
