What You’ll Get to Do:
You will apply your broad knowledge of electrical and computer engineering to design, develop, debug, integrate, test, document, and deliver signal processing systems supporting top national priorities in intelligence, defense, and other government missions. You will work with a product team of expert radio frequency engineers, analog and digital signal processing engineers, computer engineers, software engineers, and mission specialists, to identify creative solutions to customer requirements, assess feasibility, and see solutions through to operations and lifecycle support. Several times per year you will take extended (multi-week) trips to a variety of interesting domestic and international destinations for requirements-gathering site surveys, system delivery, equipment upgrades, or maintenance.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, preferably with 3-5+ years of experience in digital signal processing and software development.
Experience as an advanced user or system administrator in a Linux environment is required.
Programming skills in two or more of Java, Python, C++, C, and FORTRAN and willingness to learn to troubleshoot and modify existing software in these plus other specialty languages.
Involvement in the full spectrum of product development: concept, design, implementation, test, production, delivery, training, remote support.
Excellent written and graphical technical communications skills using Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint and Visio.
Excellent verbal communication skills and experience delivering presentations to technical and non-technical audiences both in-person and via teleconference.
CompTIA Security+ or a similar IT Security certification.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Master’s Degree in an engineering discipline.
Experience developing systems using X-Midas
Experience integrating embedded software processors/controllers with new and existing product platforms and devices
Proficiency in the language of any major foreign defense and intelligence partner nation
