CACI is seeking an Automated Information Systems Analyst (AISA) to perform Naval Forces Logistics (NFL) tasking support for COMNAVSURFPAC at Naval Station, San Diego, CA. The AISA will be responsible for providing NTCSS System Administrator technical training and support, systems analysis support, and operator training onboard U.S. Navy ships and at shore commands. Training may be done in an individual or multi person seminar environment. The AISA will provide IT systems support and troubleshooting of NTCSS applications (R-Supply, OMMS-NG, and NALCOMIS) and all application interfaces. The support will primarily be provided to activities operating Force Level NTCSS. The AISA will also provide IT System Administrator support of legacy NTCSS servers and classroom workstations operated at COMNAVSURFPAC. Shore command NTCSS support is done in a NMCI environment.
Must have a current DoD SECRET Security Clearance.
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Science, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative science field. As a substitute, eight years of experience in a combination of computer programming, design, and/or analysis is acceptable. Education equivalency experience is in addition to the minimum experience of the labor category.
In addition to the education requirements above, the Automated Information Systems Analyst shall have eight years of experience in computer analysis, Navy AISs functional analysis, networks and programming; plus two additional years as a senior-level analyst working under a formal quality management system.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with NTCSS System Administrator duties and a thorough knowledge of LINUX commands to execute IT user processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting and operating Force Level NTCSS systems and individual AIS (R-Supply, OMMS-NG, NALCOMIS, and RADM).
Must have a valid CompTIA Security+ Certification and be enrolled in the CompTIA Continuing Education (CE) program.
Must have a valid CompTIA Linux Professional (LPIC-1) certificate issued by Linux Professional Institute. This entails having the following:
TestPrep CompTIA Linux + (LX0-101, LX0-102, LX0-103, LX0-104)
- Often assigned to work independently, the candidate should have the ability to understand and identify root cause problems reported by NTCSS System Administrator, IT operators, or functional users.
-Knowledge of resources offering total NTCSS support (SPAWAR, SWRMC, Tycom), their roles, and how to leverage all support is highly desirable.
- Ability to develop IT policy to training curriculum using PowerPoint and MSWord is also desired.
