Job Description


Position Summary:

Knowledge of Powered Flight course content supporting the 306th Flying Training Group. Consult with government customer to specify training requirements and solutions which address training gaps and functionality requirements across various learning environments.  Provide insight and experience with Powered Flight curriculum during the development of engaging and interactive courseware. Collaborate with customers, Instructional Designers, and Media Developers to develop training strategies and solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Define training requirements that meets the customer’s needs
  • Work with Instructional Designers in the development of strategies for online learning and delivery
  • Provide recommendations in selecting appropriate learning media to meet learning needs
  • Collaborate with Instructional Designers in creating learning strategies, assessment strategies, and author training products, including Storyboards, to close identified training gaps
  • Review and approve all training products and evaluate for training effectiveness prior to customer reviews

Required Skills:

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Currently or previously qualified as a T-41, T-51, or T-53A Mission Qualification Pilot (IP)
  • Minimum of 1000 hours of total time in U.S. military aircraft
  • Thorough knowledge of T-41, T-51, or T-53A aircraft systems and operations
  • Working knowledge of applicable USAF flying regulations and procedures

Desired Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully individually, within a team, and across multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide proactive customer service support
  • Excellent computer skills and use of Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
