Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for creating software programs, e.g., games, computer-based education, Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) for web based delivery on a Learning Management System (LMS). Experience in the use and application of current authoring systems used in training development; general knowledge and functional understanding of computer operating systems, software applications, and instructional delivery systems. A working knowledge of HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, XML, and using Adobe Products (Captive and Creative Cloud). Experience with creating SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 IMI packages.


  • Experience programming with HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, and CSS using Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Captivate
  • Experience creating graphics with Adobe Photoshop
  • Experienced with programming SCORM (1.2 and 2004) and Section 508 compliant courseware
  • Design and implement user-driven templates and interfaces for ease of use
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Work effectively as a team player as well as use own initiative
  • Self-motivated and have a commitment to understanding the use of new technology and a commitment to continued professional development
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications and all internal systems are integrated
  • Perform complete testing of IMI applications using ADL Test Suite
  • Conduct all user acceptances testing, and report results
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to develop strategies for online learning and delivery

Required Skills;

  • Education – Baccalaureate or Master’s Degree in computer science, MIS, or equivalent degree field, from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience programming Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI)
  • Possess current DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification or able to pass certification within 3 months of hire
