Design Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) using a systematic approach, adult learning theories, learning technologies, and industry best practices for instructional design. Collaborate with customers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop training strategies and solutions. Work closely with team members, including project managers, programmers, graphics artists, and editors/quality assurance specialists.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop strategies for online learning and delivery
Design learning content for delivery in Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite, Lectora, or other Commercial of the Shelf (COTS) authoring software
Identify and select the appropriate learning media to meet learning needs
Create learning strategies, assessment strategies, and author training products, including Instructional Media Design Packages (IMDP) and Storyboards, to close identified training gaps
Develop testing plans, test administrator’s guide, and a cross-reference list of test items and related learning objectives
Test Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) Alpha, Beta, and final SCORM Packages
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Education – Bachelor’s degree or higher in Instructional Technology, Education, Psychology, or Instructional Systems Design
Minimum of 0-2 years’ experience in designing and developing blended learning, Instructor-Led, and Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) etc.
Experience in all phases of the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation).
Familiarity with educational models (SAM, Kirkpatrick, Agile, etc.).
Experience developing Instructional Media Design Packages (IMDP) and Storyboards.
Experience developing training and testing content compliant with Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM®) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
Experience in curriculum development and conversion of training materials for Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI), blended training materials, and courseware for delivery using current technologies.
Experience with learning theory and instructional technologies.
Experience in curriculum design of products to perform on the Air Force Advanced Distributed Learning Service (ADLS), Air Force Enterprise Blended Learning Service (EBLS), and offline (standalone) environments
Experience with applying the ADDIE methodology to the full life cycle of course development in an established process by designing and developing performance-based learning content and implementing and evaluating course content.
Ability to read, interpret, organize, and synthesize source material into well-written, concise learning products.
Demonstrated ability to work successfully individually, within a team, and across multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide proactive customer service support.
Excellent computer skills and use of Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Former military experience.
