The Data Team Support Specialist works as part of the Data Team, under the direction of E-Discovery Coordinators with coordination and supervision.
The Support Specialist will primarily be responsible for providing administrative support for Data Team, including:
accessing and updating documentation, trackers, and logs, as directed by the eDiscovery coordinators,
assisting with multi-level, highly technical data and task tracking,
assisting in data management procedural tasks,
assisting in data management administrative tasks, and
providing general office support services
The Support Specialist will be responsible for fulfilling daily requests and contract obligations, including performance on small non-technical and technical projects and requests. This position may also require work or exposure to a definable portion of a medium and/or large technical program(s) in accordance with shifting needs, contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
Additional Duties will include:
Assist in the administrative functions for the Data Team.
Assist Data Team in tracking data, including updating related spreadsheets and logs.
Assist Data Team with creating, updating, and revising documentation.
Assist Data Team with managing documentation, procedural workflows, tracking, and historical capture needs, in multiple locations, while maintaining consistency and accuracy.
Assist Data Team in identifying documentation and research needs, as raised by project and task requests and requirements.
Assist Data Team in performing research queries and related tasks.
Assist Data Team in accessing and/or reviewing evidence in large document management workspaces.
Assist Data Team in accessing and/or reviewing project documentation in large document management workspaces.
Assist in project-wide documentation formatting conformity efforts, when directed and under supervision.
Performing targeted research and analysis of evidence metadata.
Serve as administrative coordinator and provide staff guidance on all administrative management matters and workflows.
Apply the knowledge of a variety of CACI policies and regulations in this capacity.
Carry out special projects, as assigned.
Must be familiar with, and have working knowledge of managing client expectations and litigation support.
Successful candidates will understand and have successfully worked within team environments on a litigation support contract.
Experience with Relativity.
Hands-on familiarity with the Government's office and IT environment, including but not limited to, data processing environments, office automation networks, internet and server-based databases, and other applications.
Exceptional ability to work with word processing programs, spreadsheets, and related hardware systems.
Some familiarity or knowledge of data processing tools, including, but not limited to NUIX, LAW, IPRO or other tools. Hosted applications can include Concordance, Relativity, iCONECT, Clearwell or other similar applications.
The ideal candidate will have at least one (1) year of experience, preferably at least 18 months, working in eDiscovery litigation support projects, including experience working with large data volume workspaces with little direct oversight.
Existing/current MBI clearance, or equivalent, to work within Federal Government projects.
High quality writing and oral communication skills.
Excellent skills in the use of Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Experience creating, working with, and managing spreadsheets.
Experience with data entry.
Knowledge of office automation.
Experience in litigation support and eDiscovery.
Experience providing administrative and team support.
Ability to work within a team, and with members of other teams, as needed.
Ability to work independently in a team environment with limited physical supervision.
Ability to be flexible.
Must have a great interest in learning about data management (front-end access and back-end data handling) tasks and other technical tasks.
Bachelor’s degree preferred PLUS one to two years of related (project support) experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a MBI clearance.
