Helps to develop code necessary to complete the assigned project(s) in the specified time frame according to departmental standards and guidelines
Assists in writing, modifying, and debugging software for client applications
Writes programs according to specifications from higher-level personnel
Works with technical staff to understand and makes suggestions to resolve software problems
May help to develop the critical components of the solution, including but not limited to, security, rules infrastructure, custom adapter implementation, and application interfaces
May be involved in the development of software user manuals and software demonstrations
Seeks to improve personal job related knowledge and departmental process by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities, and reading professional publications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and zero to two years of related work experience
U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain an Interim Secret level clearance is mandatory
DoD 8570.01M Certification at IAT Level II or higher or the ability to obtain within six months of employment is mandatory.
SharePoint interest and/or experience
Knowledge of Active Directory
Good communication and documentation skills
Ability to retain current knowledge of DoD guidelines, organizational policies, and industry best practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Ability to apply analytical skills related to problem resolution and keen attention to detail
Experience working with SharePoint
Experience working with customers in the Department of Defense
Normal demands associated with an office environment.
Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
