Job Description


  • Helps to develop code necessary to complete the assigned project(s) in the specified time frame according to departmental standards and guidelines
  • Assists in writing, modifying, and debugging software for client applications
  • Writes programs according to specifications from higher-level personnel
  • Works with technical staff to understand and makes suggestions to resolve software problems
  • May help to develop the critical components of the solution, including but not limited to, security, rules infrastructure, custom adapter implementation, and application interfaces
  • May be involved in the development of software user manuals and software demonstrations
  • Seeks to improve personal job related knowledge and departmental process by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities, and reading professional publications

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and zero to two years of related work experience
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain an Interim Secret level clearance is mandatory
  • DoD 8570.01M Certification at IAT Level II or higher or the ability to obtain within six months of employment is mandatory.
  • HTML, JavaScript, CSS experience
  • SharePoint interest and/or experience
  • Knowledge of Active Directory
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to retain current knowledge of DoD guidelines, organizational policies, and industry best practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to apply analytical skills related to problem resolution and keen attention to detail


  • Experience working with SharePoint
  • Experience working with customers in the Department of Defense

Physical demands:

  • Normal demands associated with an office environment.
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
