Job Description

CACI is searching for an established Senior Business Development Executive (BDE) with a successful track record selling technology-based products and solutions within the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense (DoD), and Federal Civilian (FedCiv) Agency customers. 

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for leading C-UAS technology-based solutions business development activities in the IC, DoD, and FedCiv sectors within the Federal Government space. You will win new business contracts with a value ranging from $2-5M for small quantity orders to $25M+ for production quantity orders. You will partner closely with operations and engineering personnel within the National and Cyber (NCS) Business Group to develop an overall Campaign Strategy and Plan to focus on positioning and capturing C-UAS and related opportunities.

You will be based at our state-of-the-art Sterling, VA location and can expect to spend 25% of your time on business travel within the continental US.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Identify and qualify C-UAS technology-based (and related) opportunities within the Federal (IC, DoD, FedCiv) space.
  • Partner with senior leadership in developing the strategy for the C-UAS (and related technologies) Federal market sectors, including IC, DoD, and FedCiv, and to support CACI's long term business strategy.
  • Works closely with CACI executives, providing them with the support they need to properly integrate and manage the business development function into their respective strategies, operating plans and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain a "value added" working relationship with CACI line organizations including Business Group executives, Capture Managers, and Proposal Managers
  • Conduct competitive assessments on specific opportunities, make recommendations on teaming partners and build new business pipelines. 
  • Attend a variety of conferences and other external meetings to explore business development opportunities
  • Provides leadership in working in a collaborative fashion with other divisions of the company to accomplish strategic objectives, profitable organic growth, and increased shareholder value.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or related field
  • 12+ years of experience winning large, technology-based solutions contracts within the Federal Government with emphasis on IC, DoD, and FedCiv agencies
  • Active Top Secret (TS)/Special Compartmented Information (SCI) level security clearance
