As an Inspector, a typical day consists of the following:
Assist senior management with compliance decisions and prepare supporting documentation for process changes
Conduct briefings on programmatic activities, perform trend analyses, and employ program analysis techniques to highlight vulnerability in the program
Analyze and rank risk factors to determine priority
Track and assess plans of action and their execution to ensure timeliness and positive growth
Under minimal direction, track and be able to explain complex data and their results clearly and concisely
Have the ability to adapt quickly to emerging issues, priorities, and a changing work environment and respond to tasking’s under short and changing deadlines
Instruct field teams or new hires about inspection trends and scores so that they can pass both internal inspections and NBIB inspections
Proactively conduct internal audits/inspections of various departments and deliverables to ensure the highest level of compliance with the customer’s contractually mandated requirements
Act as a liaison with the customer to resolve issues identified during inspections, rebut any invalid findings/errors, and create actionable recommendations to improve the company’s level of contract compliance
A college degree or five years of comparable experience
Strong communication skills (listening, oral, and written).
Ability to communicate constructively with all levels of leadership
Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational ability.
Must possess excellent analytical skills, capable of working independently, and exercising initiative while exhibiting sound/professional judgment.
Intermediate Microsoft abilities, especially Excel
A Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, or the communication field are preferred.
