Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is for a Software Engineer to support mission critical application and web service development in support of an Identity and Access Management (IdAM)solution. Technical responsibilities include support for requirements analysis, system architecture, software design, development, integration, test, and operational maintenance. Responsible for establishing COTS LDAP directory services and development of Attribute Based Access Control(ABAC) Web Services. Provide integration support to multiple sites.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Experience with and/or knowledge of:
Linux and Eclipse.
Java and web application development
Building RESTful Services
Multiple Web servers (e.g Tomcat, WebLogic)
LDAP protocol, directories, and replication (e.g. RedHat DS)
PKI encryption and authentication
Broad understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and software applications.
Excellent oral and written communication skills – able to clearly communicate architecture and design concepts.
Ability to write technical documentation including wiki sites, blogs, XML/HTML.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with the IC’s CASPORT and/or AccessIT attribute services
Ability to work independently – must be a self-starter
Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize and work multiple tasks
Ability to work with minimum supervision to meet deadlines
This position maps to Software Engineer III- B labor category on the Middleware III contract, which includes the following qualifications:
TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to the computer engineering or computer science disciplines
8 years of Software Engineering experience. An additional 4+ years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree for a total of 12 years.
3 years work experience in the SIGINT, IA, or IT domains.
