Under minimal supervision, assists in developing and defining systems scope and objectives through research combined with a basic understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Interviews personnel from functional user area under study to learn general purpose of systems and information requirements of positions involved in the data flow. Analyzes business and user needs, documents requirements and revises existing system logic difficulties as necessary under direction of more experienced Business System Analyst personnel.
Provides help desk support to users on client financial applications and systems.
Respond to end user service requests via Sponsor’s designated tool.
Provide Tier 1, 2 and 3 level support to users with questions on financial system functionality providing accurate and quality responses.
Identify and recommend improvements to processes, to include unique or recurring customer problems.
If necessary, document and update business processes in SOPs.
Documents, tracks, and monitors problems/questions to ensure a timely resolution.
Establish a high level of personal credibility and build strong relationships with contract and government personnel.
Advise/educate customers to ensure a complete solution to their service questions
Education and Experience:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or a minimum 3-5 years of related experience.
