Job Summary: CACI has an opening for Acquisition Analyst in our Washington, DC location. Candidate will provide overall acquisition support to the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) by performing complex technical, logistical, and financial functions.
Assist in the preparation, update, and maintenance of acquisition program and procurement documentation in accordance with DoD 5000 series and related policy documents. Such documentation could include, but not be limited to, Cost Analysis Requirements documents, Technology Assessment/Control Plans, and Program Protection Plans.
Develop Procurement Requests and Technical Instructions. Submit through Standard Procurement System (SPS)
Assist in the POM/PR process to include preparing POM initiative documents, analyzing initiatives for funding requirements, and generating POM required data.
Prepare and provide acquisition cost analysis and estimation support.
Support Program Office acquisition strategy development.
Interacts regularly with customers and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements.
Coordinate and draft program briefs, reports, correspondence and other program specific documentation for government review, and perform action items as required.
Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 5 years of related experience.
5 years DoD acquisition program support experience.
Direct experience with NAVSEA acquisition processes including Acquisition Review Boards, Navy Program Decision meetings, Acquisition Program Baselines, and related processes.
Knowledge of DoD and NAVSEA 5000 series Program Acquisition Instructions.
Experience with Standard Procurement System (SPS)
Experience providing direct acquisition support to US Navy combat and weapons systems programs.
Experience working with PEO Ships AM and GFE
Must have a current DoD Secret security clearance.
