Job Description

Data Analyst

In support of the US Navy's Regional Maintenance Center (CNRMC), the Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing, modifying, loading, and maintaining data in several systems both commercial and government owned. The Data Analyst must manage data from PLM/TcU instances as well as Navy Maritime (Maintenance and Configuration) Enterprise Systems. The Data Analyst is responsible for creating and modifying procedures used to extract, transform, and load data into different instances and environments. The Data Analyst will assist the Data Architect and other team members with documenting data formats, interfaces, and schemas.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Information Technology and five (5) or more years of related experience
  • Experience with Relational DBMS systems (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
  • Experience writing, maintaining, and utilizing SQL, T-SQL, and PL/SQL
  • Experience with data and process modeling tools
  • Experience with File creation, transfer, and consumption
  • Experience creating, modifying, and consuming XML and JSON documents
  • Experience cleaning, merging, and creating data
  • Ability to analyze data requirements and generate necessary data
  • Ability to acquire a Secret Security Clearance
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Siemens Team Center Unified (TcU)
  • Experience with various PLM products
  • Experience creating and consuming Web Services and APIs
  • Navy Maintenance Experience, CDMD-OA experience, M & SWP experience
  • Data Analytics and Big Data technology experience
