Job Summary: CACI is seeking a Material Expediter responsible for the timely and accurate shipment of all materials and equipment from the CACI warehouse facilities to its designated location. Under minimal supervision, the ideal candidate will assist in the facilitation of all warehouse actions associated with the Life Cycle Sustainment Management, Training, Integration, Maintenance, and Testing of material and equipment stored in all CACI warehouse facilities.
Responsible for the processing of Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) freight within two (2) days of material being turned in from testing.
Process Continental United States (CONUS) freight within two (2) days of material being turned in from testing.
Process standard shipment within one (1) day of material being turned in from testing or pulling material requests in support of integration if a new build List of Material (LOM) should be submitted.
Follow and administer warehouse procedures to adhere to the five (5) days to deliver material to integration, and one (1) hour for individual parts being requested locally.
Ensure proper packaging of material and verify all shipments before leaving the warehouse.
Track, file, and maintain all shipments on shipments log.
Report any delays within one (1) hour of notification on any shipment to the Logistics Lead.
Ensure CACI processes are being followed and conduct quality assurance checks to every shipment.
Ensure all database transactions are completed within 24 hours of movement.
Maintain back-order report and inform Tech Support, Subject Matter Experts (SME), and Project Managers (PM) to resolve cross program pull of material or procurement of items.
Assist with any other projects within CACI Logistics as needed to include operation Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and logistics vehicle.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma.
Experience: Two (2) years of experience facilitating and expediting the flow of materials to and from various departments.
Must have a basic working knowledge of Microsoft office to include Excel and Word.
Must be able to obtain CACI Forklift and Walking Stacker certification.
Must understand government contracting and the use of government funds.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Two years’ experience in DoD life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems to include: logistics principles, practices, and processes.
Working knowledge of government form DD 1149, DA 2061, DA 3161, DD 250.
