In support of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy (OUSDP) you will perform as a facilities program manager who oversees a team of professionals involved with parking, transportation, and records management programs, and other operational duties to facilitate operationally sound processes, and meet/exceed Government requirements. You will be involved with services ranging from performing simple transactional activities to managing complex strategic organizational and resource management projects, and will work with all levels of OUSDP management and staff, and other Department of Defense and Executive Branch organizations.
More About the Role:
In support of the Policy Management & Operations (PMO) office of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy (OUSDP), and reporting to the Program Manager, you will provide the following support:
Manage resources and personnel providing facilities support to required OUSDP programs, including parking, transportation, and records management programs;
Establish, maintain and update quality control processes for the facilities team and assign appropriate personnel to complete required facilities tasks in a timely fashion;
Assign work effort and manage workloads of personnel assigned to work on the requirement;
Assess Government assignments and determine work priorities for each staff member, including the development of task schedules, based on feedback from Government staff;
Monitor and Report completion of deliverables of the team to the Program Manager, and as required, to Government personnel;
Support the OUSDP parking program within the WHS parking program, including assignment of tasks to direct reports, management of deliverables, and tracking task status;
Support the Foreign Gift Tracker application and program, including deliverable assignment, management, and tracking;
Support the OUSDP transportation program, including deliverable assignment, management, and tracking;
Support the OUSDP Facilities records management, including deliverable assignment, management, and tracking; and
Assist the Facilities Office Director in managing and tracking orders for OUSDP building supplies and services.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
A minimum of five (5) years of program management experience in a U.S. Government agency; and
A Bachelor’s degree.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Three (3) or more years working in or coordinating with the Pentagon Force Protection Agency;
Three (3) or more years of experience working in OSD Enterprise Supplies and Services Tracking System (ESSTS); and
Three (3) or more years working in or coordinating with Washington Headquarters Service (WHS).
