CACI is searching for a Software Lead to provide software execution team monitoring and control. This individual will provide the following activities:
Review Software Baseline Plans ensuring alignment with stated priorities
Support IPT prioritization of Software Team Backlogs to align with PMO and stakeholder requirements
Provide technical guidance to IPT Lead in support of software activities
Communicate with and provide guidance to SW execution teams in terms of expected deliverables and interfaces to the IPT related to planned government activities.
Assume leadership responsibility for the monitoring and control of software vendor execution team plans versus actual performance. Identify, capture, track, and analyze key performance metrics related to software development activities. Collaborate with the various Integrated Project Team (IPT) members and communicate expectations for the maintenance and sustainment activities of the vendor software execution teams. Address questions, ensure appropriate stakeholders are engaged, and escalate issues as they are identified appropriately.
As a member of the government’s team:
Identify dependencies and risks across the various IPT activities
Communicate key information to IPT members to ensure minimize impacts
Ensure team project baselines by maintaining project scope, cost, and schedules to document or avoid variances using risk/issue techniques and recording impact or variances within the government’s Processes for Planned Change Requests.
Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or Engineering.
At least 5 years software development team leadership role
At least 5 years of design, develop, and unit test applications
At least 5 years of Technical leadership experience
Experience with multiple software development methodologies, including agile
Good oral and written communicator
Able to effectively interact with many stakeholders with varying perspectives and priorities
