Informatica Administrator (Remote Position)

The Defense Health Agency’s (DHA) mission is to provide a medically ready force to Combatant Commands in both peacetime and wartime. The DHA supports the delivery of integrated, affordable, and high-quality health services to the MHS (Military Health System) beneficiaries and is responsible for driving greater integration of clinical and business processes across the MHS.

Our team of IT and Health Care specialists provide a wide range of Medical Information Delivery Support (MIDS) for various DoD Medical IT systems and technologies. Our goal is to help SPAWAR and DHA solve enterprise healthcare challenges by delivering advanced data warehousing, cloud-based big data analysis, algorithm development, data quality improvements, decision support tools, and resource/cost efficiencies.

CACI is looking for an experienced Informatica Administrator to work in our Charleston, SC, office or remotely. The Administrator will day to day administration and install and configure Informatica components for both Power Center and Big Data editions. As a secondary duty, the Administrator perform capacity planning and on-going monitoring to proactively increase capacity as required. The individual will work with other developers, testers, DBAs, project managers, and client business users and developers to develop specifications and resolve issues.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure Informatica components for both Power Center and Big Data editions, including high availability; managing server activations and deactivations for all environments; ensuring that all systems and procedures adhere to organizational best practices
• Day to day administration of the Informatica Big Data Edition and Power Center suite of services
• Manage licensure on Informatica environments
• Informatica capacity planning and on-going monitoring (e.g. CPU, Memory, etc.) to proactively increase capacity as required
• Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians sto assess computing needs and system requirements
• Work with other developers, testers, DBAs, project managers, and client business users and developers to develop specifications and resolve issues
• Perform data profiling and analysis using Informatica suite
• Troubleshoot and support production processes
• Create and maintain documentation
• Monitor ETL workflows and logging, providing job reports and status as required
• Perform ETL failure recovery when required

Required Skills:

• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• 6+ years of experience with Informatica 9.5 or higher as an administrator
• 3-5+ years of SQL Server experience with T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS
• Familiarity with Kerberos v5.x configuration and integration to Informatica PowerCenter or Big Data Edition
• Experience in a data warehouse and BI environment
• Experience with Oracle RDMS and associated tools/infrastructure
• Experience with installation and upgrade of Informatica PowerCenter 9.5 or higher
• Experience retrieving data from various database platforms, web service APIs, flat files, etc.

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems; or related field
• SSAS knowledge
• Experience with Tableau, SAS
• Informatica Certification
• Security implementation in both Native and LDAP domains
• Experience with Military Heath System data
• Experience in working Agile/Scrum environment
