Job Description

CACI is looking for a Systems Security Engineer/Configuration Manager with a strong security background to provide subject matter expertise in understanding, securing, and documenting complex ERP systems in a fast paced, dynamic environment for two government customers.  The support is needed for Systems Engineering of systems in operations that need improvements and continuous monitoring for accreditation.


  • Follow ICD 503 guidelines in hardening systems.
  • Develop and maintain repeatable processes documents that govern the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of system applications.
  • Develop and communicate vision for system improvements then realize vision through planning, leadership, and execution.
  • Work directly with the ISSE to ensure that the systems and applications are ICD 503 compliant.
  • Contribute to writing C&A documents to include the System Security Plans.
  • Work with auditors to demonstrate compliance.
  • Make INFOSEC an integral part of the systems engineering process by implementing and engaging team members in ensuring security requirements are implemented.
  • Track IAVA compliance and write/track POA&Ms when necessary. 

Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizen with a current Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance.  Must be able to obtain Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in related discipline as described in the Responsibilities section above.
  • Familiar with ICD503 and FISMA requirements
  • Experience with Linux and/or Windows COTS Applications
  • 5-7 years experience with Systems Security.
  • Understanding of configuration management practices.
