Job Description


Responsible for working closely with technical experts/project leads and project managers in creating and managing project schedules. Work closely with others in linking critical activities across multiple.  Coordinates and tracks multiple key projects and tasks.   Maintains a resource loaded and networked program schedule for on-going and special projects that can be utilized to analyze resource allocations, mission completion dates, and “what if” analysis.  Tracks and updates personnel and projects progress and critical path on a daily basis. Creates tracking reports for various levels of management.   Coordinates project schedules and recommends appropriate lead-lag times.  Plans workload for multiple project management teams and de-conflicts resources. Provides forward looking schedule analysis to Leadership.  Interfaces between senior management, Project Managers to gather data and adjust scheduling parameters. Attend project meetings, assist in taking and relaying meeting notes, action items.  Contributes to project preparation and tracking efforts.  Performs other duties and assignments as required.  Evaluate project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas. Suggest management of risks affecting project profit, costs, schedules and client relations. Support project management team to maintain timely and effective change management processes, procedures and systems. Assist project team to develop and maintain periodic status reports to keep management informed on project progress. Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules. Interact with customers, managers, operation leaders, financial controller and EVM analyst.


Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 7 years of experience.

3 years of experience working as a Project Scheduler for several projects simultaneously.

5 years of MS Project or similar software-based scheduling experience.

7 years of experience in government contracting

Intermediate to advanced skills using MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, advanced skills using MS Project or similar scheduling related software. Strong organizational and communication skills.
