Job Description


The candidate will provide support services with technical problems and information technology issues involving desktop, laptop or network services to local employees and employees using network remote access. Configure, maintain and provide Desktop support to all users to ensure they have the ability to work at all times. Provide support for all applications running on servers and desktops, and all hardware associated with applications. Help develop IT solutions to meet business objectives. Create and maintain documentation on MIS systems. Maintain equipment inventory using an Access Database. Assist with SharePoint Administration.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • AA/AS Degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of related experience.
  • Desktop support experience – in multi-user environment including remote users
  • Competent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Access, Windows 2007/2010 and Office 2010/2013
  • At least one Microsoft Certification
  • Security + CE Certification
  • Desktop support experience – in multi-user environment including remote users
  • Competent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Access, Windows 2007/2010 and Office 2010/2013
  • Capable of maintaining complete and accurate hardware inventory.
  • Attention to detail / organized approach to work. Able to receive and follow instructions and assignments and meet given priorities, with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working positively and productively in a team environment. Collaborative with strong customer service abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively over the telephone, in person, and in writing. Experience in writing work instructions

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2 years' experience with Microsoft Access
  • Experience with Remedy ITSM Suite or similar trade tool
  • Account Creation

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and five to seven years of experience.

Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
