Designs and develops complex programming systems making specific determinations about system performance; defines functional specifications of the system for the appropriate hardware.
Analyzes total system specifications and translates system requirements to task specifications for computer programmers.
Develops training programs to promote staff development within departments affected by utilization or revision of computer systems.
Participates in development of long range planning for new projects.
Prepares reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
Performs the technical functions of systems programming and analysis for operating software products.
Tests and installs new operating software releases and updates existing software. Also responsible for installing proprietary releases and updates.
Performs diagnostic problem solving of systems software and acts as liaison with vendors on problem resolution.
Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of related work
Perform unit/system testing.
Write technical documentation (SDD, UTP, etc.)
Agile development experience a plus.
