CACI seeks a professional with experience in the Navy's Food Service Management operations Afloat and the Navy's (FSM) software. Candidate must be able to provide FSM software user training, on-site and remote user assistance, and program troubleshooting and software assistance for the Afloat food service community.
Provide training to Food Service Officers, Culinary Specialist (CS) records keeper, Leading CS and other personnel in the operation and maintenance of the FSM system at afloat CONUS and OCONUS locations as directed. This includes Automated Food Service Records and Return record keeping procedures.
Introduce the guideline and mandatory requirements of the FSM program.
Hands-on training and performing practical exercises on daily and monthly transactions including accounting period and closeout procedures.
Provide on-board assistance with the restoration and recovery of the FSM system. Assist CS Records Keeper and Food Service Officers with correction of Food Service Officer's Records and Return Report discrepancies and errors and general afloat food service operations. Provide OJT to food service personnel, CS Records Keeper, leading CS and Food Service Officers.
Provides management, customers, and subcontractors with basic logistics technology and information that ensures effective and economical support for products, service, equipment and systems.
Determines support requirements including facilities, personnel, safety, supply, transportation, maintenance and services.
Directs and coordinates program activities designed to ensure effective and efficient economic support.
Analyzes and evaluates design concepts to determine if concepts satisfy support requirements.
Anticipates logistics problems related to operational area and environmental and human factors.
Determines contingency requirements and solutions.
Must possess an active and current SECRET clearance, or higher.
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of Navy Logistics experience including Afloat duties described in the position description.
Candidates should have experience serving on an Aircraft Carrier.
Must be capable of demonstrating extensive knowledge of the Navy's Food Service Management (FSM), Logistics Inventory, and Financial Management. Relevant Navy Schools will be considered as experience.
